SPOOKYFEST | COMMUNITY INFECTION MODES | 2017
I was approached by a 343 Industries Trusted Community Coordinator to be a featured forger in an official Halloween Article
It was made to shine a light on some of 343's favorite minigame creators and I had the privilege of get 2 of my levels featured.
JUGGERNAUT | LEVEL DESIGN BREAKDOWN | 2020
Community Content Creator, "Chaos" was working on developing the classic Halo game mode "Juggernaut" as it had not been released with Halo 5 as an official mode.
I was later interviewed by her to get a deeper insight into my level design work process. This audio was featured in their breakdown video.
WW1 TRENCHES | EARLY LEVEL DESIGN FEATURES | 2017
One of my earliest and most rudimental levels in Halo 5 was a WW1 Trenches Big Team Battle style map, which was featured in 2017 by 2 popular YouTubers ForgeLabs and iSpiteful.
While I believe I've significantly improved as a designer since creating this level back in 2016, these features helped give the confidence to continue my passion for game design.
No matter how weak my designs seem in retrospect, I always cherish them as they not only remind me where I started, but also of all the lessons and skills I've learnt since.
Arena Levels
Death Row | 2v2 Competitive Halo: CE Style | 2020
- Plays well for rotation and attack and defend modes with hallway prioritised interactions that encourages flanking through choke points to force the team in power points out into the open.
- Spawn room exits are more varied but the locations players will spawn in are defined and therefore predictable meaning players can understand the maps rotation while still allowing for unique engagements.
- Mid section elbow cuts off direct line of sight between bottom and top mid so play is controlled and balanced.
Unreal Engine Remaster
Graveyard | 3v3 Attack/Defend Style | 2023
- Attack and defend design that encourages options for pressing the defending team through different terrain styles and level dynamics.
- Staggered levelling that allows for verticality without drastic height differences in encounters. Provides optimal cover to lower level players.
